Biography

​I’m just a small town farm girl who likes fresh milk, Friday night football, glitter, dogs, Jane Austen, piano, history, cookie-dough ice cream, and words. I read, write, and edit because I love to learn new things and there is great power in the written word.

I was twelve when I decided I wanted to be an editor. (I had an unusual fascination with commas and the difference between good and well.) Several years later I am now a communications major with a minor in editing, and now I want to be an editor even more than when I fantasized about it as a preteen. Commas are cooler, and dashes are—I can't even say.
